Table 11: Medical Malpractice Claims The Office of Insurance Regulation provides the Department with electronic access to all information received related to persons licensed under Chapters 458, 459, 461, or 466, as required in section 627.912(3), Florida Statutes. The Department reviews each report and determines whether any of the incidents that resulted in the claim potentially involved conduct by the licensee subject to disciplinary action, in which case the provisions of section 456.073, Florida Statutes, shall apply.
